Market

This is a friendly man who has a little electrical shop. One day I talked to his wife and son and we practiced English and Serbian together. One of the many things I like about it here is that there are still lots of little "mom and pop" shops like this. Walmart hasn't made it here yet! (Nor have many of the large Western European chains I saw in Romania, like Kaufmans) And there is no McDonalds in the capital. i'm not sure if there is one anywhere else in the country. And many people here have never even heard of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken).

This is some wire and an adapter to go from the pluge used in North America the plugs in Europe. The adaptor cost .70 Euro cents.

The electrical shop and others on the outside of the market building.

Insided

On the first floor is the fruits and veggies market. Notice how clean it is.

A little Serbian lesson.
