This group of friends was waiting to hear how they did in a drama competition. While we were there they found out they came in third place. One person was pretty upset. Another said she didn't care beccause she knew they had done well. One is 18 and has one more year of high school. Others have just finished high school. I think all were students in the gymnasiuum. Their play was by a Bulgarian author I think. It was something about how sex is the only thing that is real. The girl who said she didn't care if they won said she wants to provoke people to think. They also said the people here are too conservative for such a play and that probably the reason they didn't win the competition. If they had come in firrst or second they could have gone on to another competition in Trebinje, Bosnia. At least one of the group called herself a Muslim. One called herself an atheist. Others called themselves Orthodox Christians. It was an interesting discussion. Phillip and I met them in the park across from the National Theatre.
